We are thrilled with the keynote and entertainment lineup for The 2022 Energy Fair and are so happy to be sharing our first peek at who you will find at the Fair!This year’s Fair theme, “Powering the Just Energy Transition,” has guided our planning with the intention of bringing new faces and messages to Fair attendees. From the high energy of our featured entertainer to the indigenous focus of Saturday’s keynotes, we think everyone will find something to love and learn. Kyle Whyte is a professor and organizer at the University of Michigan. His work focuses on the problems and possibilities Indigenous peoples face regarding climate change, environmental justice, and food sovereignty.
Kyle currently serves on the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. He has served as an author for the U.S. Global Change Research Program and is a former member of the Advisory Committee on Climate Change and Natural Resource Science in the U.S. Department of Interior and of two environmental justice work groups convened by past state governors of Michigan.
